It's been a beautiful weekend here, the sun has been shining and I even managed a 1.5 mile run yesteday, so really pleased with that, I also took my daughter prom dress shopping, the dress had to be ordered and will be ready sometime in May, all the dresses were soooo beautiful, I wanted one lol.

I managed to combine 1 card with 2 challenges, over on TOMIC their challenge this week is FRIENDSHIP (you must have text on your card that includes friend or friendship) PLUS Use a DOOHICKEY DIE

and over on Just Magnolia their challenge this week is to use a Doily.

Saturated Canary - Challenge 10

It's just started to rain here so I think the snow will be dissolving shortly, although I think our 9ft snowman in the front garden will be taking a while to dissolve!!

Oh my goodness, how cold can it get? It has just started snowing and it is settling well :)

I'm sitting here sniffing and sneezing full of cold typical just right for the weekend!!!

This little gorgeous image is Saturated Canary and she was my first, I have just popped over to the Etsy store and purchased another as they are so gorgeous, although I must practise colouring the hair a bit better!

It was another cold start to the day this morning, although this afternoon was lovely sunshine but still very cold. Definitely need to wrap up warm if you are planning on venturing out. This is another stamp I have purchased recently, I love this little cutie, I really must stop buying stamps I have zillions of them, although I have sorted my stamps out recently, i bought the clear pouches from Lili of the Valley and have arranged my stamps in those, I have also put in my nestabilities, just perfect for the job!

Magnolia - Sketch Week 141

It's been rather a chilly day here today, I had to scrape my car this morning and then at lunchtime it was still only 4 degrees!! Brrrr way to cold :)

Over the weekend I managed to make a card for the Magnolia Challenge Sketch, I seem to be taking longer and longer each time I make a card at the moment, I get so easily distracted with Facebook, blogland and Pinterest :) I have managed another card without using pink!! I really love this paper pad it is Portobello Road by Papermania, I also purchased the Glittered Designer Die-cuts which are lush!

MDUC 130

I have been out this evening for a run, I managed 1.3 miles, tomorrow Zumba and Thursday a 10.5 mile bike ride. Since Christmas I havent really done much exercise but I am going to get back into it!!

The challenge this week over on the MDUC is to "Create a project in the colours of your National Flag"..... this may be tricky for some.... but we KNOW you are all up to the challenge! We do ask that you note in your blog post the colours that feature on your flag so we can see them clearly in your card.

I struggled to find papers for this challenge, as most of my papers contain pink!! I had to dig deep for these :) I think the blue dotty one is from a Nitwit Collection and the red is an old Magnolia paper.

Its a bit breezy here this morning, looks like we might be in for a spot of rain later on. I have a stew in the oven, it smells lush, I've just made the dumplings ready to go in very shortly, mmmm.

This little lovely landed on my doorstep on Friday, so it would of been rude not to use her :), you can't see very well in the photo but I have used a little bit of cheesecloth fabric and lace just to the left of the image.

Monochromatic Pink + Bow

Over on TOMIC this week the challenge is "Monochromatic pink + bow". This week we want you to use pink as your main color on your creation. You can use touches of other colors too but be sure that pink remains the main one. We also want you to use a bow somewhere on your creation, it can as an embellishment, a chipboard, a ribbon, a charm, etc...

This is just up my street, it is my favourite colour, a girl can never have enough pink!! I have even used some more old stash!

Journal Your Christmas 2011

I have joined in with Journal your Christmas this year, I love the holiday season and thought this would be perfect to journal it.

I cut the snowflake from glitter card, it's just so glittery.

Bonfire Night

I had a busy day yesterday, my mum and I went of to the NEC for the international cake show, normally we go to the Craft show but thought we would have a change, I didn't buy a lot really, just some cake pop sticks and melts to have a go at making some cake pops. I have seen these on lots of american blogs and have always liked them so thought I would have a go.

We always have family around on bonfire night to have burgers, sausages and chilli, we made a huge chilli, it went down well. We then all went off to a fireworks display, I love fireworks, it wasn't as good as usual but it was still ok, took a few photos on my iphone,

This week on the Magnolia hAnglar and sTanglar blog it's a Special Monthly Challenge which means the theme is "ANYTHING GOES". We have added the option of "PEARLS AND LACE" if you would like.

I thought I would make a christmas gift bag and I've also used pearls and lace.
