Our project to share with you is an Altered Heart, these make the perfect little wedding or birthday gifts, or even an anniversary gift, you are only limited by your own imagination, dare I mention the C word, they would look gorgeous decorated on your christmas tree :)

Here are the goodies that I have used for the project, you can find them all in one place here

1.  Although the hearts are whiteboard I painted mine with Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber - Snow Cap, just to give it a little shabby chic / vintage feel.
2.  Ink the edges of the heart, I used Distress Inks - Iced Spruce, it just gives the heart a bit of depth.

3.  Choose a patterned paper of your choice and measure 1/2 way down the heart.  Cut to the width required then stick across the middle of the heart.

4.  Glue Roses, Rosebuds and Cherry Blossom to the left hand side, paint the gold filigree butterflies white to keep with the shabby chic/vintage style.

5.  Thread a Pearl Caberchon through the lace and adhere to the back of the heart.

 6.  Finish by adding self adhesive pearls to the both sides of the heart and add lace to the top of the heart so that the heart can hang.

I can’t wait to see your decorative hearts.

Enjoy the rest of the Blog Hop, don't forget to leave a comment.
